Quinoa Flakes with Pear and Cinnamon



100 g (1 Cup) uncooked quinoa flakes

500 g (2 cups) plant milk of your choice

1 1/2 pears chopped

50 g (1/2 Cup) raisins

1 tsp cinnamon

pinch of salt

Add all ingredients to a pot, let boil and reduce the heat. Cook for a few minutes until quinoa flakes absorb all the milk and thickens. Take off the heat and distribute between 2 bowls.


Date caramel:

10 medjool dates pitted

1/2 cup warm mater 

Blend dates with water until smooth and pourable. Add more water if necessary.

Transfer cooked quinoa to bowls, decorate with the remaining 1/2 pear, toasted almond flakes and date caramel.
